Hi Garry my water is leaving pink rings(very light) in the toilet and turns the shower curtain pink ware it sits in the water. Do you know what this is? My softener is working great. The pink areas clean up easily and its allot better than the old dark moldy looking stuff that use to form. When I got my softener I replaced 95% of the old copper in the house, I am just curious plus the wife keeps asking me.

I have had it a few years ago. Usually it is caused by an airborne mold that I can't recall or pronounce the name of. Google should be able to find it by searching for "pink water" maybe.
